OOTD – Arizona Fall Style

by Veg Girl

Hey Veg Peeps!

If you’re a shorty like me, you struggle with the length of pants and their invariable bunching at the ankle. No fun! It is a rare find that a pant will hit right at the ankle without bunching and even then they are often too short. Where is that happy middle? I’m right at that weird height of not petit and not regular, per se, being a woman of 5’5″ tall.

For most of my pant collection, bunching happens, and it makes winter and booties a pain since I do not like the way they look when they tuck-in to the boot, puff-up, and then scrunch around the ankle. Yuck! Luckily, I have been seeing the trend of people rolling their pants just above the sneaker or boot (I know it’s not new!), but I was finally able to pull together a look with this trend that felt relaxed and comfortable versus feeling overly styled and trying too hard. I was also able to incorporate my shameless love for all things camel vegan leather (such a rare find to find in that beautiful, buttery color without being too dark or too light). Had it been any cooler (I live in AZ where it currently is pushing 90 degrees each day in November!), I could have added a cute blue blazer or even a camel bomber! I don’t have a camel bomber, but does this outfit help me getting one?

Please note: these pics do not do the booties justice because they are so bright and camel colored. I’ll post separate, better-lit a pic of those later! I got them at Old Navy if you’re interested. The top is from Wantable.com (Z Supply- Venice Stripe Tee Black Iris/Snow White), and the jeans are really old (so not sure where those are from). The belt was a rare find from a random website (again because the camel color must be perfect!) I found a similar one here (though I’ve never purchased from this site). My watch is from Apple, and the lock necklace is my own design that I’m going to be making for sale on this site shortly!
